Mark earned his degree in Social Work from the University of Delaware. He uses both training and life experience to create a plan to help his clients move forward past their obstacles.
After receiving my degree in Social Work, I gained experience in a variety of settings, including the Veterans Administration, as a support group facilitator for Panic, Anxiety and Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, as well as seeing private clients. After relocating to New Jersey, I started a practice focused on common sense solutions to a wide variety of issues. I choose not to focus on the past and offer ways to move forward in a healthy way. I will be your life coach for your future.
My flexibility in scheduling and ability to see new clients on short notice can often mean that we can begin addressing issues before they get out of control. I listen to your concerns in a nonjudgmental way, without taking notes or watching the clock. You will get all the time and attention you need. I appreciate that it is beneficial to talk with someone who can relate to you and your issues.
Personally, I have managed my own anxiety for almost 40 years and have learned many tools that work for me, and can work for you also. I have dealt with the death of a spouse, as well as the loss of parents. Although happily married now, I have also dealt with many relationship difficulties . Your past does not define you.
My life experiences allow me to practice from a more realistic and relatable position. I create strategies and coping methods from a non-academic standpoint. In short, real-life solutions to real-life problems.
I have experience working with clients with a broad spectrum of emotional and behavioral issues and I look forward to using my expertise in working with individuals of any race, gender, religion, age, or ethnicity. I also have experience working with individuals and couples in diverse settings.
With COVID-19 restrictions in place, I have continued to see clients in a variety of settings. In warm weather, I see clients outdoors in a park like setting. Colder weather brings more creative approaches as my physical office has closed. I do offer phone or video call sessions as well. Same day appointments available!
Personalized help in a comfortable, no nonsense approach
